The bob

Winter hair looks

Bobs are perfect with hats in the winter

One cut that will never go out of style is the bob. This timeless look stays relevant because it is reinvented season after season. This winter’s version of the bob is messy and blunt, and all about defined face-framing waves. This sassy winter hairstyle is characterized by cool messy strands and layers at the sides and back for additional volume and texture. And it’s all about texture this season. Maintain your style by blow-drying your hair in an outward direction, using your fingers instead of a brush.

70s feathers

Another haircut perfect for winter is a fresh take on a 70s classic. This look is about being a modern Charlie’s Angel, and it certainly makes for stunning winter hair. The shoulder-length feathery layers work with or without bangs and complement all face shapes. Maintain the integrity of this haircut by spraying some lifting powder onto the roots of your wet hair, then blow-dry forward with your fingers until it is completely dry. Using a round brush, smooth your hair in multiple directions, then finish with hairspray.

Midi hair

Luscious winter hair

Wrap up warm and enjoy gorgeous looking hair

No matter the cut, midi hair is in this season. According to Richard, you can make this winter hairdo even more chic by adding shorter, graduated layers that fall just below the collar bone. Use a cocktail of hair mousse and definition cream all over your wet hair and twist it into a diffuser until it is dry. Use your fingers to frame tendrils around your face. Finish by spritzing with some shine boosting tonic.

Pixie look

The punk pixie cut is a super-modern winter hairstyle that is both rebellious and feminine at the same time. It is ultra-trendy and really accentuates the sexiness of your cheekbones, neck and jawline. Keep the cut looking fresh by applying some mousse to your damp hair and then blow drying it in multiple directions using your fingers. Finish by working a little anti-frizz balm throughout your hair and parting it on one side, then flipping it over in the opposite direction.
