What happens when the delicate pixy style merges with the metropolitan amazon look? Star Stylist Armin Morbach let his imagination play with the images and together with Schwarzkopf he created the four angel looks. The merger worked, his angels can compete with any otherworldly messengers

For the sixth time Schwarzkopf collaborated with the internationally renowned hair stylist Armin Morbach to create candidates for the 2012 trend hair styles. The newly created looks for 2012 are nonchalant, sexy, glamorous, exciting and best of all, wearable. Unique variations allow everybody to express personality and individuality. The angel looks are inspired by the hair styles currently seen in the streets and on catwalks.

Our 'angel looks' are designed for women who want to look angelic and strong at the same time. Schwarzkopf clearly expressed a philosophy of keeping the focus on the true face of femininity. Styling professional Armin Morbach certainly agrees, "Why should anyone hide the expressions of womanhood?"

Of course, the photographer needed to join this approach. To capture this philosophy in the images of models Schwarzkopf worked together with star photographer Peter Lindbergh who works for numerous international fashion and life style magazines. He is well known for his knack for building special rapport with models and make it part of his art. Peter Lindbergh and the 'four angels' Elisa Sednaoui, Iris Strubegger, Hye Jung Lee and Hana J. Jirickova set the perfect scene for the angel shots in the famous French seaside resort Le Touquet Paris-Plage. It is Peter Lindbergh’s favourite location. Overculture Envoy - Elisa Sednaoui

(Above:) The model is surrounded by sand, sea and wind. The ocean infuses the air with intoxicating power. Model Elisa Sednaoui rests and dreams. Her hair flows as natural as the sand and the ocean

(Below:) Between the beach bar and the next party this model just turns her soft wavy hair into a casually styled updo. A few strands of hair are allowed to escape the slides to give the style its unconventional, innocent looking flair

Saint Econic - Hana J. Jirickova

(Above:) This hair style is about extreme volume. Armin Morbach used all the tricks of the trade to create this lion’s mane. His main tools were a tail comb and plenty of volumising powder. Model Hana J. Jirickova wears understated accessories to avoid the overly made-up look

(Below:) Of course, the understated simple look also goes well with the little black dress as Armin Morbach shows with this styling example. The loosely pinned up wavy hair give the updo a romantic flair

Bedlam Almighty - Hye Jung Lee

(Above:) The model looks wicked yet so innocent. For this style Armin Morbach played with contrasts. Model Hye Jung Lee’s represents a woman who is part vamp and part angel. Her casual long hair is sexy and wild, yet she appears fragile at the same time

(Below:) The deliberately lascivious hair style draws attention to Hye Jung Lee’s penetrating gaze. Her hair is loosely gathered in the nape of her neck. She seems to walk the line between heaven and hell. There is something mystical about her appearance
